How Samarkand's first SAT center was built from scratch.
SAT Samarkand was founded in August 2024 by Faridun Shavkatov — a math and English educator who saw a critical gap: ambitious Uzbek students were preparing for the SAT without expert guidance, wasting months on wrong strategies. The vision was simple — build a center staffed entirely by mentors who had actually scored 1500+ themselves.
From a single group of 12 students, we have grown to 500+ active learners across two branches in Samarkand. Every mentor on our team has scored 1500+ on the SAT, and our students have been accepted to universities in the USA, Turkey, and South Korea.
We believe every talented student in Samarkand deserves a shot at a world-class university. Our mission is to remove the preparation gap — giving local students the same quality of SAT coaching available in Tashkent or abroad, at fair prices and in their own city.
We cap every class at 12 students maximum to ensure each learner gets personal attention. No mass lecture halls, no recycled worksheets — every lesson is adapted to the class's current weak points.
